Paddle the warm waters of False Bay with us and we'll show you some amazing things. We offer trips from the sedate to the adventurous but our most popular trip is to visit the penguins at Boulders Beach.
We paddle every day of the year, weather permitting - not just the summer. The winter months are also wonderful for paddling because winter has more calm windless days than summer and on those days it is absolutely beautiful. Plus there is always a chance of seeing whales.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN IT'S WINDY ? Two options.
Same price, and the same time as you are already booked
1) Kayak, but not to the penguins
In summer we often have a strong south-east wind. In these conditions it can be too difficult to get to the penguins at Boulders Beach but we can still enjoy a kayak experience in the relatively sheltered area of the Simon's Town harbour and bay.
If you want to get more adventurous we can sneak a little out of the sheltered bay where the sea and wind create an environment where we can play in the waves.
If you don't want to get too adventurous you can stay in the calmer harbour area and still get a terrific kayak experience.
These pictures and video will give you some idea of what it is like if you want to wave play.
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, IT'S JUST LIKE RIVER RAFTING ON THE SEA
